Student Accommodation

Due to the fact that Carlow is home to both Carlow IT and Carlow College, Carlow is very much a student town. Furthermore with the impending university status attached to Carlow IT, student numbers are only going to increase in Carlow. With this in mind our Company provides extensive Student Accommodation servicing both Carlow IT and Carlow College on our dedicated Student Rental Accommodation Listing.

Information for students:

We rent properties on a nine month lease from the 1st September until 31st May the following year. However during the academic year we can accommodate short term lets depending on the availability of accommodation.

We obtain a deposit of €500  from  each tenant. each tenant. This will be returned in full in the first of June or beforehand, depending on move out date. Please see below for further instruction.

DEPOSITS ARE INSURANCE SHOULD ANY DAMAGE OR REPAIRS NEED TO BE DONE AFTER A TENANCY, THEY CANNOT BE USED AS A LAST MONTH’S RENT.

We all have different habits and life style. Living together requires compromise and tenants should be understanding of others otherwise it could cause problems.

Where applicable, in addition to any tenancy agreement that may be in place a list of house rules are agreed to. Usually ground rules cover issues such as loud music, visitors, cleaning and anti- social behaviour.

The best way is for all tenants to chip in to keep the property reasonably clean. If necessary a rota could be agreed to but this will only work if everyone contributes.
